As this is a kit largely geared toward childhood imaginative play, there are plenty of fun toys for the Sim kids to enjoy. The Car Activity Table might just look like a cardboard box turned into a car, but for the kids, it’s hours of entertainment! The Up, Up, Into the Stars Dollhouse is a DIY Rocket Ship dollhouse for kids that increases Creativity skills for children and imagination for toddlers. The most active toy is the Cozy Little Swing Set. Strung with lights and with little blankets beneath, it can provide hours of entertainment for every Sim!

For a more relaxing experience, the Bigfoot Stuffie will keep the kids company, provide Creativity and Social skills to all kids, and Communication Skills to Toddlers. If Bigfoot is a little too scary, the Little Camping Buddy can be an alternative option. It provides the same skills to children as Bigfoot, but for Toddlers, it also provides the Imagination skill.

4 Activities

Blanket Projector outside of a Sims 4 home and Backyard Firepit in front of it

In addition to the toys for kids, there are plenty of additional camping activities to be had. The Backyard TV Projector is basically a big sheet with string lights and a projector. Invite over other Sims to have a fun-filled TV night while sitting in the Makeshift Seating or The Little Pals Folding Chair. No movies on this projector, but kids can still watch their favorite cartoons! Turn up the jams with the Kitty Tunes Radio that levels up Fun and has a low Power Consumption rating. Your Sims can party in the backyard all night long.

Then, light up the Backyard Firepit and roast some marshmallows. The interactions with this fire pit are different from other fire pits like the ones in Outdoor Retreat. If you want to hang out and roast marshmallows this is the thing for you! Otherwise, you’ll have to set up a different fire pit for other functions.

3 Lighting

Three Jars Full of Fireflies with String Lights for Ants strung between them and Light My Way to the Moon Lamp in front

Before your Sims lay down to stargaze, they’ll be in need of some light to help them see all the fun activities there are to do. There are three new pieces of lighting included in the kit. The String Lights for Ants are set so low to the ground, that they seem to be made for things much smaller than humans.

The Jar Full of Fireflies makes a great connection point for the String Lights for Ants. Combining the two provides more light and a cozier aesthetic for the Sim children. Finally, the Light My Way to the Moon Lamp will engage the astronomer in your Sim children and will probably have you singing Frank Sinatra when you buy it!

2 Decorations

On the Makeshift Shelf, and Needs Paint Table you can feature some great items to make the space even more pleasing. The More S'mores kit shows off the delicious offerings of any fire pit gathering without any of the mess since it's not functional. Meanwhile, the Sweetest Little Gnome statue dances in a gnome cap atop a large delectable s'more.

The Pop-Up Storytime makes the cozy imaginative space complete with a little learning. It shows a forest of trees standing tall from an open book. Although none of these are functional, they all add to the decoration element that Sims love.

1 Sleepovers

Sims 4 Blanket Fort with Lawn Blanket on inside, Bring Your Own Pillow to the left and the Foldup bed on the right beneath the fort.

Finally, there are three new items for your Sims to fall asleep on under the stars. The Lawn Blanket not only provides a cozy space for your Sims to sleep, but it will also give you a great place to sit and watch movies on the Backyard TV Projector. Lay down on the blanket and put your Sims heads on the Bring Your Own Pillow and fall asleep to the sound of crickets.

When it’s finally time for your Sims to go to sleep after a night of imaginative play, the Foldup Bed will provide the comfort they need to cozy up and dream of rocket ships. Put that underneath the Blanket Fort, add The Lawn Blanket, and you’ll have the coolest sleepover spot in Willow Creek!

Hopefully, this kit will inspire your Sims' next backyard adventure!
