Destiny 2's armory is packed to the gills with dozens of Exotics, totaling over 100 across the three classes, but not every piece is created equal. Each piece of Exotic Armor can undoubtedly be used, but certain options stick out among their peers as top-tier Exotic Armor pieces for your favorite character's Stasis subclass.

While there are relatively few Exotics designed specifically for Stasis, the potency of your options is far from lacking. While not required, Stasis functions best when you complement your abilities with some of the most powerful Stasis weapons you can find.

Updated July 21, 2023, by Andrew Scariati: With Bungie striving to keep each subclass relevant, Stasis received some love in the form of powerful new Exotics to choose from as well as improvements to existing Stasis Exotics, like the Hunter's Mask of Bakris.

Stasis Hunter exotics weren't the only ones to receive some needed help, with Titans also joining in with their own potent new toy: Cadmus Ridge Lancecap. If you haven't tested these fantastic choices, then it's time you witness their abilities for yourself.

11 The Bombardiers

A Hunter wearing The Bombardiers with a gray background in Destiny 2.
  • Parting Gift: Dodging leaves behind an explosive that detonates after a short delay, damaging targets around it and creating a secondary effect based on your subclass energy type:
    • Arc blinds
    • Solar scorches
    • Void suppresses
    • Stasis slows
    • Strand severs

While Parting Gift once merely left behind a small explosion after dodging, it now has special effects when used with each subclass. For Stasis, you will leave behind a delayed explosive that Slows your targets upon detonation.

This extra source of Slow will enhance the effectiveness of your Winter's Shroud Aspect, which can completely immobilize large crowds when combined with the appropriate Stasis fragments. Keep in mind that the delayed explosive will also deal damage, which can shatter enemies you have already frozen with your last dodge.

10 Icefall Mantle

A Titan flexes their massive muscles while wearing Icefall Mantle gloves in Destiny 2.
  • Glacial Guard: Replaces your Barricade ability with an overshield. When you activate your Barricade, you create a burst that slows combatants. While you have the overshield, you are slowed and Barricade does not recharge.

Stasis Titans enjoy being hard to defeat, and Icefall Mantle gloves will make it even harder to take you down. Despite its drawbacks, this Exotic Armor can function as an excellent choice for a PvE build but will likely make you an easy target in PvP unless you position yourself carefully.

An excellent combination to test is using your melee to dash into a group of combatants and then activating your Icefall Mantle to Slow them and clean out the crowd while surviving any attacks using the extra protection from your overshield.

9 Eye Of Another World

A Warlock's Eye Of Another World shines and flows with gray matter in Destiny 2.
  • Cerebral Uplink: Highlights priority targets and improves the regeneration of your grenade, melee, and Rift abilities. Provides a 15-point boost to the airborne effectiveness of all weapons.

Eye Of Another World is an excellent catch-all Exotic Armor piece that can fit in almost any build but functions particularly well on Stasis.

Stasis Warlocks rely heavily on their abilities to keep the battlefield under control with Bleak Watcher turrets, freezing melee attacks, and more. As such, the increased ability regeneration is appreciated and grants the equivalent of 30 points in each stat.

So, if you can get each of your abilities to tier seven, then Eye Of Another World effectively brings them to tier ten, the maximum.

8 Gemini Jester

The purple Gemini Jester boots flow with purple fabric on a Hunter's legs in Destiny 2.
  • Misdirection: Dodging disorients nearby enemies and temporarily removes their radar.

Bombardiers provide an excellent PvE option, but Gemini Jester is a similar exotic in function that might appeal to you more if you prefer PvP. Disorienting foes provides a split-second advantage in tight quarters that can decide a gunfight.

While these boots are sometimes paired with powerful Void PvE builds, they can also be an exceptional asset on PvP maps with shared walls and adjacent hallways. You can combine Winter's Shroud with these boots, giving your dodge even more utility.

When used in proximity to your enemies, you will Slow, disorient, and remove their radar, rendering a Guardian almost defenseless as you close in to clean up the kill.

7 Cadmus Ridge Lancecap

A Titan wears their Stasis Exotic, Cadmus Ridge Lancecap, in Destiny 2.
  • Lancer's Vigil: Diamond Lances create Stasis crystals on impact when thrown, with more crystals created by hitting bosses and vehicles. While using a Stasis subclass and behind your rally barricade, rapid precision hits and final blows with a Stasis weapon create a Diamond Lance near you.

Cadmus Ridge Lancecap offers a unique approach to combat that focuses on staying safe while inflicting massive damage against both red-bar combatants and boss-level foes. This build will flourish when combined with the Wicked Implement Exotic Stasis Scout Rifle, given their excellent synergy.

Stasis certainly lacks defensive strength when compared to Void subclasses, but this potent combination of the Cadmus Ridge Lancecap and a suitable Stasis weapon will provide you with plenty of lances to use as you see fit.

6 Ballidorse Wrathweavers

A Warlock tightens their fist while wearing the Ballidorse Wrathweavers in Destiny 2.
  • Hearts of Ice: Your Winter's Wrath Shockwave deals increased shatter damage. Allies in range of the Shockwave gain an overshield and increased damage with their Stasis weapons.

Ballidorse Wrathweavers seem specifically designed with PvE in mind, so try these out on your next run through a Grandmaster Nightfall.

Warlocks' Winter's Wrath super has greatly underwhelmed in the damage department, but these gloves not only improve your Super's damage per second (DPS) against single targets but also support your allies to ensure their damage increases.

Overall, this is a superb supportive Stasis Warlock Exotic if you need something extra to help your fireteam in Gambit, Nightfalls, and more.

5 Precious Scars

A Titan stares straight head through the dead eyes of the Precious Scars helmet in Destiny 2.
  • Kintsugi: Final blows from weapons with a damage type matching your subclass energy create a burst of healing around you. After reviving or being revived, you gain an aura that provides overshields to you and your allies.

Another generalist Exotic, Precious Scars is an excellent choice for Stasis Titans who want to take their survivability to the next level. While there are powerful options that will reduce the damage Stasis Titans endure, there are almost no options to regenerate your health – save for Precious Scars.

These healing effects are incredibly powerful when using a Stasis weapon with your subclass, and while you may find more success in a PvE setting, this helmet shouldn't be ignored for PvP.

The uniquely intimidating style alone makes this a must-try Stasis Exotic for Destiny fashionistas.

4 Renewal Grasps

A Hunter squeezes their hand in a fist to show off their Renewal Grasps in Destiny 2.
  • Depths of Duskfield: Your Duskfield grenades have a much larger effect radius. Allies inside the Duskfield take reduced damage and foes inside the area deal reduced damage.

While these gloves are a far cry from the broken, overpowered mess (or blessing if you're a Hunter) they were on release, Renewal Grasps still provide a premier defensive pivot for Stasis Hunters to rely on in PvE.

In PvP, enemies deal 20 percent less damage while allies receive a five percent damage resistance – a paltry amount in comparison to the original.

For PvE, enemies will deal 50 percent less damage, and your allies receive 25 percent damage resistance.

To feel the full effect of these gloves, stick to PvE and enjoy excellent survivability in your glorified snow globe.

3 Hoarfrost-Z

A Hoarfrost Z sits snugly on the broad torso of a Titan in Destiny 2.
  • Glacial Fortification: When using the Stasis subclass, your Barricade becomes a wall of Stasis crystals that slows nearby targets upon creation. Standing behind this barricade will grant you and your allies increased reload speed, stability, and range.

Name a more iconic combination than a Stasis Titan and countless massive ice shards spread across the battlefield. There isn't one. If you can't get enough ice in your life then Hoarfrost-Z is the choice for you.

If you want to be extremely annoying in PvP then you can combine this Exotic with other Titans using their regular Barricades to break part of your ice wall, triggering ability regeneration when you collect the Stasis shard.

You will need to coordinate and make sure you build around Stasis Shards and ability regeneration, but this should provide plenty of fun for you and your fellow Titans.

2 Mask Of Bakris

A Hunter's Mask Of Bakris glitters with purple eyes in Destiny 2.
  • Light Shift: Replaces your Stasis Dodge ability with a longer range, faster-moving shift that partially cloaks you during use. After shifting, your Stasis and Arc weapons deal increased damage for a short time.

Tricky Hunters will love the unique movement capabilities of the Mask Of Bakris, as it completely changes your dodge ability while granting bonus damage to select weapons. There's a reason this helm stands above all other Stasis Hunter Exotics.

Mask of Bakris provides great versatility that can be applied in either PvE or PvP, though the Shift ability is particularly useful for disorienting Guardians in the Crucible when you Shift past them. The increased damage will occasionally come in handy against other Guardians, but combatants in PvE are perfect targets to really test the extra damage.

1 Osmiomancy Gloves

The Osmiomancy Gloves shine in the light while on a Warlock's arm in Destiny 2.
  • Fervid Coldsnap: Your Coldsnap grenades gain an additional charge that recharges quicker on direct impact. The seeker spawned from Coldsnap grenades travels further.

Osmiomancy Gloves remains at the top of the Stasis Warlock Exotic list, especially in content like Vanguard Strikes. Osmiomancy's perks will allow you to throw a near-endless amount of Coldsnaps, provided you are freezing new enemies each time to activate the effect.

Freezing the same enemy over and over will only trigger the recharge if they fully thaw out first, so be careful with your timing.

Aside from the excellent freezing utility, you can still toss out Bleak Watcher turrets if you have them equipped to help you keep the battlefield full of frozen enemies. Crank up your Discipline for faster grenade recharge and go to town with these incredible Warlock Stasis Exotic gloves.
