Get ready to rise and shine with Pokemon Sleep. This Poke-app is designed to help insomniac trainers achieve a better bedtime by encouraging and tracking their sleep. By attaining a good night's rest, you will be able to witness and study Pokemon with unique napping styles. Though this might sound simple, there is nothing more important than catching some Pokemon Z's. However, it does make you wonder: which Pokemon should partake in this app's sleepy time?

There are many Pokemon who can make a special guest appearance in this game, but some 'Mons deserve to rest more than others. Whether it's because they need a break from everyday life or they would be exciting to observe when out cold, here are our choices for the Pokemon we want to see in Pokemon Sleep.

10 Absol

Pokemon: Absol's Deadly Song

Absol is a Pokemon that first appeared in Ruby and Sapphire all the way back in the GameBoy era. Known as the Disaster Pokemon, this horned and side bang-possessing teammate was mistakenly called the harbinger of doom and gloom due to the correlation between them showing up and a disaster striking. Which is why they should go to bed.

If people see Absol taking a quick snooze, then perhaps their opinion on this not-so-scary 'Mon will change. But, as much as Absol deserves a nice, long slumber, their sleep style will probably end up being a light doze. After all, disasters can happen at any place and at any time. Even nap time.

9 Chandelure

chandelure art and pokken model

Even though Chandelure looks like a lit chandelier that has mysteriously come to life, they are actually a Ghost and Fire-type Pokemon. Not only has Chandelure appeared in the main Pokemon games such as Black and White, but they are also a major fighter in the Pokken Tournament spin-off game. However, all that fighting is sure to tire out any Pokemon. So, Chandelure should take a break.

Chandelure's appearance in Pokemon Sleep is sure to answer some burning questions everyone has about them. For example, do the flames on Chandelure's body go out when they're asleep? Does this Pokemon still float while they're resting? And of course, does this spectral snore despite not having a visible mouth?

8 Bewear

Bewear and Rotom Pokédex from Pokemon Anime

Although Stufful is an adorable Pokemon, it is their evolved form, Bewear, that should definitely take a nap. Why, you may ask? Well, Bewear is a Pokemon that everyone should beware and be wary of. Despite their cute white ears and pink paw pads, Bewear can hurt any trainer (or enemy) with a single bone-crushing hug. Thus, a sleeping Bewear is the safest Bewear.

Hopefully, when Beware does lie down for a break, they will assume the slumbering type of sleep style. That way, they will be deep in dreamland and pose no threat to any curious Pokemon Sleep researchers.

7 Rowlet

Rowlet from Pokemon Anime

Rowlet is one of the starters that you will encounter in Sun and Moon and Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. A Grass and Flying-type who resembles an owl with a bow tie, Rowlet is actually nocturnal and prefers going on adventures at night. So, if they're hiding in their nest during the day, it might be hard to find them.

But, if you're playing Pokemon Sleep, then you'll be able to see what a sleeping Rowlet looks like without disturbing their slumber. Speaking of slumber, Rowlet would definitely have a slumbering type of sleep style. After all, they need to rest up as much as they can so that they can be their very best at night.

6 Dugtrio

Dugtrio and Alolan Dugtrio from Pokemon Anime

Dugtrio comes in two forms: the classic Kanto Ground type bald and the Alolan Ground and Steel type blond. As a Pokemon that is made up of several different 'Mons, it would be interesting to see which sleep style this trio falls in.

Would they be a dozing bunch who wake up at the slightest movement? Or would all three snooze the day away? Or even, would the Dugtrio take turns so that one can slumber deeply while the other two snooze? So many sleep patterns are possible when your Pokemon has three heads instead of one.

5 Cresselia

Cresselia from Pokemon Anime

A good night's rest is well, good. But a good night's rest and a sweet dream is even better. And if Cresselia happens to visit the world of Pokemon Sleep, then you and the drowsy Pokemon are guaranteed to have great dreams. Cresselia is a legendary Psychic-type and one that everyone should invite to their slumber parties.

Thanks to her Lunar Feathers, Cresselia can ensure that everyone's dreams are positive rather than negative. Plus, Cresselia herself can join in and catch some shut-eye too. She would probably not rest long, merely dozing rather than slumbering, but that doesn't mean she won't feel refreshed and ready to start the day. Or, night?

4 Raichu

Raichu puts its hands in the air on a dirt road

Despite being a powerful Electric-type, Raichu has always been overlooked in favor of their more iconic pre-evolution form, Pikachu. Yes, they did receive an adorable Alolan surfer upgrade, but they still aren't as popular as the other Electric mouse. But in Pokemon Sleep, it is finally Raichu's time to show off their moves. Their sleepy moves.

Since Raichu possess two forms, their Kanto form and their Electric-Psychic Alolan form, Raichu can have multiple resting styles. Perhaps their Alola version will be more prone to slumbering while their Kanto counterpart can be more of a snoozer. Or, maybe both of these evolved mice might enjoy a quick doze rather than the average eight hours.

3 Wooloo

Wooloo stands beside Hop

You've probably heard of counting sheep to help you sleep. But what about counting Wooloos? And instead of counting, what if Wooloo was your nap time buddy? Wooloo is a Pokemon that first made its fluffy appearance in Sword and Shield. Known as the Sheep Pokemon, this partner is sure to put any trainer to rest with their comforting bleats.

Since the average real-life sheep only sleeps around four or five hours a day, Wooloo's sleep style would be either a dozer or a snoozer. How unfortunate that the most pillow-like Pokemon can't slumber the day away.

2 Mabosstiff

Mabosstiff and Pokeball from Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet

Out of all the dog-like Pokemon, Mabosstiff might be the best canine companion. The evolved form of Maschiff and the main motivation behind Arven's story in Scarlet and Violet, Mabosstiff might look scary, but they're actually a huge sweetheart that deserves a nice long rest. And not the sad resting they did in Path of Legends. Nope, Mabosstiff should be happy and healthy as they sleep.

Since Mabosstiff is a little bit of a guard dog - even having an ability called Guard Dog - they would probably be found in the dozing sleep style. So, when you go to take that quick nap, you can rest assured knowing that Mabosstiff will be there to protect you from any unexpected trainer battles.

1 Maushold

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Maushold -- a little family of mice, being the cutest things you've ever seen.

If you thought that Dugtrio was a happy-looking group, wait until you see Maushold. Maushold is a family of Pokemon that first appeared in Scarlet and Violet. The evolved form of the adorable couple Tandemaus, this lovable pair has gone from a duo to a happy family of three or four.

For Pokemon Sleep, it would be interesting if Maushold can come in two sleep forms: slumbering for the kids and dozing for the two parents. After all, parents tend to sleep with one eye open just in case their newborns need something.
