Moltres: Strengths And Weaknesses

Moltres is a Fire and Flying dual-type Pokemon, providing it with specific strengths and weaknesses when in battle. To be successful in this Five-Star Raid, it's essential that you're putting together a team of Pokemon with these strengths and weaknesses in mind.

First addressing the resistances that Moltres possesses, there are seven different attack types that are weak against this specific Pokemon. These attack types are Ground, Fighting, Steel, Fire, Fairy, Bug, and Grass, all dealing reduced damage against Moltres.

Moltres has a double-resistance to both Bug and Grass-type attacks.

These will deal the least amount of damage in this specific Five-Star Raid.

Fortunately, Moltres has a few key weaknesses, counteracting the wide range of resistances that this Pokemon possesses. This includes a double-weakness to Rock-type attacks, and single-weaknesses to both Water and Electric-type attacks.

Although all three of these attack types will perform well in this Five-Star Raid battle, it's best if you are using Rock-type attacks, as these will do significantly more damage than those of other types.

Increase the damage of any attacks that you are using in this Raid battle by making sure that the attack type matches the type of the Pokemon using it.

This is caused due to Same Type Attack Bonus, a useful mechanic, especially for difficult Raid battles.
