There is a recently released Pokemon Go accessory, the Pokemon Go Plus+, used to play Pokemon Go without having to open or interact with your actual phone. Additionally, this new peripheral is used to play the brand-new Pokemon Sleep, designed combine the world of Pokemon with healthy sleeping habits.
With the debut of this new product and game, Pokemon Go is hosting a limited-time event, titled the Catching Some Z's Event, themed around this new release. This in-game event will only be available two days, taking place from Saturday, July 15, at 10am local time to Sunday, July 16, at 8pm local time.
Pokemon Go Debuts
The first Pokemon making its Pokemon Go debut is Komala, the Drowsing Pokemon that was released with Pokemon's seventh generation.
Throughout this event, Komala will be available as a rare wild encounter, so make sure to log in and adventure during this short event window.
Additionally, a costumed version of Snorlax wearing a nightcap will be making his debut. This rare costumed version of Snorlax will be available via the Special Research throughout this event.
Event Special Research
There will be Special Research that can be claimed throughout this event. In order to obtain this Special Research, you'll have to connect a Pokemon Go Plus+ device with your Pokemon Go account, unlocking it as a result.
Although this Special Research can only be claimed during this two-day event, it will remain available to complete following its conclusion.
That being said, make sure that you claim it while you can, otherwise you will miss out on it.
Completing the tasks with this Special Research will reward you with an encounter with Snorlax wearing a nightcap. Although this is the first time this costumed Pokemon has been available, they will be making their return in the future.
Event Wild Encounters
There will be several sleep-themed Pokemon found in the wild during the Catching Some Z's Event. Make sure to participate in this event for a chance to encounter and catch the following Pokemon, as some of them are rare and otherwise difficult to acquire.

Event Raids
There will also be numerous Pokemon found in Raids during this event following its sleep theme. Each of these Raids will vary in difficulty, depending on the specific Pokemon and tier of Raid that they are found in.

Event Avatar Items And Stickers
There will be two new avatar items available to purchase at the in-game shop for this event: the Snorlax Pattern Night Cap and the Snorlax Onesie. In addition to being available during this event, both of these avatar items will remain in the in-game shop following its conclusion.
Additionally, there will be brand-new Stickers brought to Pokemon Go with this event. These stickers can only be obtained by those who have connected their Pokemon Go account to a Pokemon Go Plus+ device and register their sleep for 90 minutes each day.
