9 Full Contempt
Staying alive is key amid the hail of bullets and monstrous onslaughts. So, that's why the Full Contempt secret makes this list no matter how basic it may seem. It boosts your contempt (which acts as armor), above the traditional maximum of 200 all the way to 300.
Full Contempt can be found in the very first chapter among countless others. It's definitely a saving grace when you are able to locate it.
8 Dragonfire Boltgun Magazine
This fiery addition to your arsenal is unfortunately temporary. It's quite literally one magazine, though it'd be incredible to find this ammo type more frequently.
That's, however, why it's such an awesome secret. The Dragonfire magazine is true to its name dishing out exponential damage in the form of incendiary bolts.
Be warned, however, once the magazine is gone, it's gone. So, maybe switch to another weapon after you find it so that you can conserve that sweet, sweet hellfire for the biggest baddies on the block.
7 Aura Of Doom
If you want to pack a heftier punch, then look no further than the Aura of Doom. This secret makes your Space Marine an apocalyptic force leaving nothing but blood and guts in his wake.
Essentially, it duplicates the damage output of all weapons and significantly reduces the damage you take.
This "god mode" of a relic is so potent that its duration is limited to thirty precious seconds. So make use of that time to the best of your ability.
6 Assault Doctrine
This is the power-up for those angling to lean on the chainsword for a bit of hack n' slash fun. The Assault Doctrine bolsters the chainsword's damage output significantly for a limited window instantly making the Space Marine staple melee weapon the tool of choice.
While the chainsword might be your go-to for smaller enemies or to finish off that nearly-dead heretic, it'll now be the weapon that drives you - at least for thirty seconds. The best perk of using the chainsword is that you are conserving precious ammo.
5 Munitions Boon
The Munitions Boon is one of the longer-lasting secret relics in the game. While it's not permanent, it'll at least stick with you for the remainder of your current mission.
As the name implies, this relic increases your maximum ammo across the board.
Ammo is the bread and butter of Boltgun. You will expend it as quickly as you pick it up, giving you more leeway regarding the amount of ammo you can carry is an invaluable perk for any mission.
4 Infinite Ammo
What's even better than more ammo? Infinite ammo, of course. While the effect of obtaining this secret lasts only thirty seconds, it'll be a mighty devastating thirty seconds.
The world slows down, and you have the chance to put your biggest and most favored artillery to task without any consequence.
This is thirty seconds in which you will be unstoppable. Maximize the gift of infinite ammo, just be sure to switch between weapons instead of wasting precious time reloading.
3 Machine Spirit
The guns at your disposal are already deadly in their own right, but the only thing that can possibly make life any bloodier for you is to somehow boost their capabilities. The Machine Spirit secret does just that.
This buff might feel random, but it affects each weapon you have equipped differently. Some buffs include ricocheting bullets while others maximize the rate of fire.
Whatever the case may be, it's going to be a surefire means of tearing through the Forces of Chaos, and it lasts the entire mission.
2 Kraken Boltgun Magazine
This specialized magazine is designed to do one thing, shred the toughest enemies to pieces. You might ask, how so? Well, the Kraken bolts are highly effective against armor.
Only the toughest baddies are outfitted with armor giving them longevity in any fight with you.
This is a special relic that is limited. Like other special magazines, it only lasts until the magazine runs its course, so be strategic about its use.
1 Vortex Grenade
If you want to vaporize everything in your path, look no further than the Vortex Grenade. Once you collect this secret relic, you will then be capable of lobbing the Vortex Grenade.
But save it for the worst of the worst, or as a last-ditch effort that allows you a reprieve.
It will create a vortex in a massive area that pulls all enemies in and inflicts damage for a decent amount of time. It will kill just about everything that succumbs to its gravitational pull.
Of all the Warhammer games out there, this is by far a top-tier weapon of mass destruction. So don't sleep on this one!
