One of the best parts about cozy life simulation games like Disney Dreamlight Valley is the decorating aspect. The fun doesn't stop there since almost all the furniture in the game is themed toward different Disney characters we know and love.
It's time to have a Beauty and the Beast-themed bedroom and a Frozen-themed kitchen. Scrooge McDuck's big store in the Plaza is not the only way to get furniture, so don't let him suck your pockets dry of money. There are 1044 pieces of furniture in the game so far. Below will detail every way to get different furniture sets.
Updated July 11, 2023, by Sean Murray: With Disney Dreamlight Valley adding new characters, we've updated this furniture list with the new options available. We've also refreshed its formatting and given it a few more breakout tips to help make furnishing your home a breeze.
How To Get Furniture
- Upgrade Scrooge's store
- Craft
- Level up friendships
- Unlock Prince Eric
Disney Dreamlight Valley has themed furniture sets based on your favorite realms such as Tangled or Wall-E. All furniture can be found at Scrooge's store except friendship furniture and Star Path furniture. Every day Scrooge's shop will refresh with new items.
You may think that there can't be that many furniture pieces in the game, since some days it seems like Scrooge isn't updating his store. This is a common concern with the store, but rest assured there is a ton of furniture waiting to take a turn on the shelves.
One way to make sure you see more options at Scrooge's is to upgrade his store. Locate the Scrooge construction sign (that's the orange triangle sign) just outside his shop and to the right of the front doors. Interact with it and Scrooge will show up and tell you how much it costs to upgrade the shop.
When you expand his shop, more display counters become available. A second display window will appear and the entire second level of the store will showcase furniture every day.
There are regular furniture sets that have no Disney theme, which can be browsed by speaking to Scrooge directly and asking to see his wares.
Select the dialogue option, "I'd like to order some items." Then select Furniture. This storefront will show the regular, non-themed furniture Scrooge offers, but it also acts as a catalog for any furniture item you've purchased in the store and any furniture item you earned from a Star Path.
By speaking to Scrooge, you can re-purchase furniture you've had before.
Here is the total number of themed furniture pieces available in Scrooge's store:

Another way to get fun furniture is to increase your friendship level with the characters in town. Every time you level up a character's friendship level, you will see a progress bar full of rewards to reach. Sometimes the reward will be a motif or money, other times it will be furniture directly related to that character's Disney story.
Have a trusty workbench nearby to craft more furniture. There are over 140 furniture items available for crafting in the game. When you first play the game, simply picking up new resources will unlock crafting recipes for you.
Be sure to always check the crafting bench menu, though, as with game updates new things will be added.
When you find and unlock Prince Eric for Ariel, he will have his own workshop where you can purchase a few furniture recipes to craft yourself. These recipes will be added to any crafting bench you come across.
Here are all the furniture items you receive from leveling up a character's friendship:

How To Furnish The Valley
To customize your home or outside in the Valley, all you have to do is open your inventory and select Furniture on the left sidebar. This will put you into editing mode, where you can decorate and change up the scenery.
Some furniture items can only be put inside your house; an obvious one would be any fireplace set. Some items can only be put outside, like fencing and pathing. A lot of furniture can go inside and outside though, even if it's a cozy couch or a kitchen table.
When Scrooge asks you to decorate a newly unlocked area, simply rearranging trees and rocks will suffice for the questline.
Any object that you take and "remove" from the Valley goes right into your inventory. You can place and rearrange pretty much everything from rocks to houses. You can even move your house to the beach if you wanted.
Scroll down when in the furniture menu to reveal landscaping. Landscaping is in the same menu and format as furniture decorating. Scrolling down, you will find categories for trees, bushes, and pathing.
To expand your home and add more rooms, simply interact with the Scrooge construction sign outside your house.
When inside your house, you can walk into a magical elevator in the black space outside your front door. Here, you can expand and edit your rooms.
Star Path Furniture
- Menu > Event
- Premium = more furniture
Some limited-time furniture can be collected from Star Paths. The Star Path is a sort of battlepass in Disney Dreamlight Valley. The current Star Path is The Wonder of Pixar. Anyone and everyone can collect the goodies within Star Paths, but there is a Premium version with more rewards.
Premium Star Path costs 3k Moonstones. Moonstones can be earned by finding daily blue chests around the world or through purchases with real money. The Premium version of Star Paths typically allows you to get the bigger furniture pieces in the Path.
Head to your main menu where you can see your Collectibles, Quests, and more. The very last tab at the top, next to Settings, should be Event. Head there to look at the current Star Path. This page will detail what the Star Path theme is, your Duties, and the Rewards.
Click Duties to see what tasks you need to complete in order to collect rewards in the Path. All you need to do is complete casual tasks, much like your Dreamlight Duties, to earn credits for the Star Path and collect rewards.
