Cooking meals is a great side hustle for earning some Star Coin in Disney Dreamlight Valley. There are multiple recipes you can find and learn that will help you earn a fortune or make some villagers happy. Some recipes, however, are exclusively needed to progress specific quests in the game.
This means that these recipes are actually locked behind villager quests and story beats. Sweet Frost Popcorn is one of those that cannot be made until you have reached a certain part of the game. Read more below to find out how to complete this recipe.
Olaf's Quest To Obtain The Sweet Frost Popcorn Recipe
During Olaf's friendship quests, you will stumble upon a task requesting you to cook Sweet Frost Popcorn. While creating a theater for Olaf and his friends, he will ask you to get the perfect snack for the guests.
This quest is available once you get Olaf to Friendship Level 4. You will also need to have Elsa and Remy unlocked as villagers.
The Chez Remy restaurant and the biome Forgotten Lands must also be unlocked to initiate this Level 4 quest with Olaf.
How To Craft The Recipe For Sweet Frost Popcorn
Sweet Frost Popcorn is a quest item. Even though you unlock the recipe to craft this item, you will not be able to craft it after completing the designated quest.
A crucial ingredient to this recipe is a quest item that cannot be accessed any other way.
This is why you cannot craft the Sweet Frost Popcorn afterward. This also means that you cannot sell Sweet Frost Popcorn for Star Coin.
You will need four different ingredients to craft this recipe which is given to you after speaking with Remy. You will need:

Corn x2 | Corn seeds can be purchased from Goofy's Stall on Dazzle Beach. |
Sugarcane | Sugarcane seed can be purchased from Goofy's Stall on Dazzle Beach. |
Butter | Butter can be purchased from the Chez Remy restaurant for 190 Star Coin. |
Corn and Sugarcane are easy to acquire if you have unlocked the Dazzle Beach biome for 1,000 Dreamlight.
Butter can only be purchased from Remy's restaurant by unlocking and rebuilding Chez Remy.
To rebuild Chez Remy, you must unlock Remy by accessing his realm in the Dream Castle and initiating his first quest.
Pure Ice is the ingredient that makes it, so you cannot craft this recipe outside of this quest.
Pure Ice cannot be accessed from anywhere else in the game other than during this quest when speaking to Elsa.
