If Wreck-It Ralph is one of your favorite Disney movies then you're in for a treat. You will want to free up space in your valley for an extra house. Vanellope has joined Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it's up to you to find her and help her. You can guarantee some new Wreck-It Ralph furniture pieces.
Vanellope is part of the Dreamsnaps update. Along with her comes some new mechanics to the game in preparation for the developers to launch Multiplayer. There are a few things to learn as you embark on this journey with Vanellope. Find out how to complete her initial quest below.
How To Unlock Vanellope
Make sure your game is up-to-date before anything else, since there are always new patches and updates to the game and some of them will contain new content. Vanellope will already be around the valley, and to initiate her appearance, you must speak with Scrooge McDuck.
Scrooge will mention a ghost within the Dream Castle. Head to the very top level of the Dream Castle, where you will find Vanellope glitching by the fountain.
She will ask you to help her by taking pictures and uploading them to the Internet.
You will get a pop-up of an introduction to DreamSnaps as a new mechanic. You will have to participate in a DreamSnap for Vanellope's quest.
Faith, Trust, And Pixel Dust Walkthrough
DreamSnaps are an optional mechanic that allows you a chance to earn Pixel Dust. Pixel Dust is what allows you to level up your DreamSnaps level, and as you level up, you can earn rewards such as clothing, money, and Moonstone.
You do not have to participate in DreamSnaps to play the game.
You only have to participate in one DreamSnap event for Vanellope's initial quest. Vanellope's main quest serves as a tutorial for DreamSnaps.
All you have to do is collect some furniture items that match the DreamSnap theme and then take a picture using your phone.
After taking a picture, press D to show the DreamSnaps requirements. It will show something like Elegant 2/5. This will let you know if your items match the theme or not. If it is only 2/5 or 1/3, then you need more items of that tag in your photo.
You may then press T to submit it into the contest.
The furniture or clothing you use has to have certain tags pertaining to the event. To find out what tags they need to be, press escape and head to the Events tab to take a look at the current running DreamSnap event.
The Mandatory tags need to be in the photo for you to get points, while optional tags will just additional points.
You won't be able to analyze any currently owned items to see what tags they have. What you can do is head to Scrooge's and ask to order some furniture or clothing from him. You will be able to see most of your previously bought items. In Scrooge's ordering screen, you can select pieces of furniture or clothing to see their tags.

Vanellope Friendship Rewards
Low Friendship Level's can easily be leveled up two or three levels by using flowers. Flowers will boost early levels from two to five, without needing favorite gifts.
Mid-way through Friendship Level you will have to rely on gifting villagers their favorite gifts of the day.
As you progress through Vanellope's relationship you will earn cool rewards for your character and for the valley. No matter the character, you cannot earn the Level 10 reward until after you have completed the Level 10 quest for that character.
