These new and improved wolves have a nasty bite as they can deal more damage and spread infectious Rabies.
Spec into Enhanced Wolves to squeeze the most damage out of Aspect of the Alpha. Then, support your bulked-up companions by keeping enemies perpetually immobilized, slowed, stunned, and poisoned—an easy task for the Swiss Army Druid.
6 Stormchaser's Aspect
Historically, Tornadoes in Diablo have always been hit or (mostly) miss. Sending fearsome spiraling winds sounds awesome on paper, but in practice, they take on a life on their own to chase unseen demons.
Stormchaser's Aspect is a mandatory quality-of-life improvement for Tornado-based builds, as it forces the ferocious winds to seek and chase targets.
Stormchaser's Aspect transforms the Tornadoes into potent crowd clearers like it was meant to be. It's the ideal build for activities in open spaces, like Helltides and Whisper bounties.
5 Aspect Of The Blurred Beast
The Werewolf builds into applying and spreading poison to as many enemies as possible with Rabies, Shred, and Poison Creeper. Naturally, poison can take some time before it kills the enemy, which can hamper the adrenaline-fueled lightning-quick combat Diablo players crave.
The Aspect of the Blurred Beast adds a welcome burst to the playstyle by exploding a percentage of the poison upfront.
The legendary aspect is triggered when Shred instantly seeks poisoned enemies to pop the usually slow tick rate. Poison Werewolf Druids work great in groups because they move from pack to pack, priming them for other classes to finish them off.
4 Aspect Of The Aftershock
Earth-based skills quickly became the go-to build for end-game content. These skills output a ridiculous amount of crowd control, easy access to Fortify, and spammable, offensive attacks.
Aspect of the Aftershock amplifies the core skill Landslide, raising a second set of earth pillars for free while also dealing bonus damage.
Landslide is a strong core skill on its own, and the legendary aspect makes it a true force of nature. It has amazing synergy with the Aspect of the Trampled Earth, where casting Trample erupts Landslide pillars in its wake, doubling the amount when paired.
The build is fun, mobile, and effective in areas with scattered but dense packs.
3 Aspect Of Mending Stone
Earthen Bulwark is the Druid's most effective defensive skill, surrounding the caster with Rocks that absorb damage before shattering into nearby enemies. The biggest downside is its short base cooldown, which makes it clunky to use independently.
Aspect of Mending Stone fixes that issue by doubling its active time while letting you replenish the timer by killing enemies with Earth Skills.
The legendary aspect turns Earthen Bulwark into a proactive, offensive skill. Instead of holding on to it for a moment of panic, you can simply activate it, dash in, and decimates enemies with earth skills without fear of death.
2 Stormclaw's Aspect
The Werewolf Shredder build in motion is a magnificent sight to witness. They elegantly dash in and out of the fight, applying multiple stacks of poison before moving on to the next pack to let them perish.
While it is a seamless transition between each pack, elites and bosses can withstand further punishment, exposing their weak single-target damage.
After a critical strike with Shred, the Stormclaw's Aspect deals additional lightning damage to the main target and nearby enemies. The aspect naturally adds a much-needed boost to burst damage without interrupting the intended game plan.
It's too good that the build feels slow and clunky without it.
1 Shockwave Aspect
Even though Druid's kit offers much complexity, the most straightforward and specialized build sometimes does the job better. Meet the Pulverize Werebear: a one-trick wonder that puts all its energy into delivering a meaty smash.
When set up correctly, Pulverize has absurd burst damage that obliterates packs. So, its short range is an understandable trade-off for its raw power.
The Shockwave Aspect ignores any semblance of balance and grants Pulverize a forward-moving projectile. Now there's enough Pulverize for the main pack as well as any stray demons in the back.
This basic improvement for the already simple game plan elevates it to a top-tier build.
