Final Fantasy characters are always dressed to T and flamboyant-looking. It wouldn't be your favorite fantasy game if it wasn't the case. With the most recent launch, we are given over-the-top outfits and brilliant aesthetics once again. And the hair, don't forget the hair.

Our beloved characters dress differently when they're in standard mode and when they summon their majestic Eikons, so we'll be treating the outfits separately in this case. If you spot your favorite on our picks, then you've got good taste.

7 Jill Warrick

Jill in standard mode from FF 16

Jill's poised, proper but also somewhat coquette-ish outfit lands her on our list. As the main protagonist's love interest, it's natural that she'd be one of the best dressed in Final Fantasy 16 (FF16).

However, we find that her main outfit is quite tame in comparison to other characters. Nevertheless, her outfit is memorable and cute. It also captures Jill's personality quite well.

As host to an icy Eikon, the blue themes and color splashes suit her aesthetic quite nicely and give her a subtle but charming vibe. And of course, the details in the outfit, from the vest to the accessories dangling around her waist are classic Final Fantasy flamboyance.

The characters are always overdressed, even in a more subtle outfit such as Jill's.

6 Benedikta Harman

Nothing like a fierce antagonist to get the story going. Benedikta deserves her place on our list as she owns her outfit and aesthetic fully throughout the whole story.

Dressed mostly in very dark clothing, the details of her outfit and how it's form-hugging is what elevates it.

Since Benedikta embodies a femme fatale, it's only right that her outfit is slick, and elegant, but also gives her "do-not-mess-with-me" vibes. The fur and the golden clothing that goes all the way down also elevate her boss-lady look and make the outfit sensual but fierce.

5 Dion Lesage

Dion Lesage's regal outfit from FF16

Of course, the noble prince and warrior extraordinaire have made it to our list. Dion's getup can only be described as regal, over-the-top, but also battle-ready. But the maximalist attire is what makes him one of the best dressed in the game.

Draped in strong-looking armor that has been blended with the attire of a prince, he's ready for battle and for frustrating talks in the royal hallway. In any case, it's clear to see that the creators put in extra effort when creating Dion for FF16.

4 Clive Rosfield

Clive standing from FF16

As the protagonist of our game, of course, Clive gets a place as best dressed. While he may not be at the top, he still holds his own compared to the other characters.

And quite the transformation as well. When we see young Clive at the beginning of the game, we're even more astounded by his grown-up appearance.

Clive is tough and you can see it from a mile away. His outfit embodies this, with the choice of using red touches in his outfit fitting with his stand as the protagonist and making him stand out no matter where he goes.

The red leather mixed with the black leather and armor brings Clive's maverick hero vibes to the front.

3 Phoenix Eikon

Joshua Hosting Phoenix Eikon from FF16

Our beloved characters in their Eikon summoned forms dominate the best-dressed list since they look even more out-of-this-world than in their normal forms. Joshua Rosfield as the Phoenix Eikon is a sight to behold.

The fact that his clothes and his hair all catch and burn in bright flames makes the character look stunning and magnificent. The fire itself is the outfit in this case and it works since it adorns his clothes and his whole being like he had just put on an ephemeral layer of clothing on him.

2 Odin Eikon

Barnabas hosting Odin ff16

Barnabas' Eikon Odin places high in our eyes, because of the overall detail that has been put in his outfit. He is draped in armor from head to toe.

Armor so fierce, regal, and intricate that it could be worn by a God. The golden tones elevate this aesthetic even more.

Odin's blue and lethal-looking sword adds an extra layer to the greatness of this look, with his dark horse with gleaming blue eyes complementing the sword and making the final touches. It's no surprise that he is excellent on the battlefield, as his attire looks impenetrable.

1 Shiva Eikon

Shiva Eikon from FF16

The Eikon of Ice, Shiva, adorned with a beautiful crown takes the top spot for us. While Jill is Shiva's dominant and plays host when she summons her, their outfits are worlds apart from each other.

Shiva rocks a Goddess/Queen outfit adorned in blue tones and generally in an icy white palette.

It fits her element of ice perfectly, and her attire is hard not to admire when you see her battling it out in-game. The crown and the sharp edges that accessorize her outfit elevate this beautiful aesthetic and dress even more, giving it an edgy layer.

The long fabrics of her cloak that fly in the wind behind her accentuate the ethereal quality of this outfit.
